Network Audits

As the first phase of our five phase implementation strategy, all new clients with established networks require a comprehensive assessment of their network through a structured audit that covers the following areas:

• Network Topology (Hardware, wiring, utilization, best practice setup)
  
• Network Software (Installation, versions, serial numbers, best practice setup)
  
• Network Availability (Remote access to company files and folders and applications)
  
• Network Security (Password complexity, port protection / firewalls, backup strategies, physical location)
  
• Network Suppliers (ADSL, Hosting, 3rd Party application support)

The audit will assess your network and provide information on what is required to initiate Scope Logic’s Managed Services and Help Desk Agreements. The audit report will include the following:

• Identification of areas that require immediate improvement
  
• Identification of areas that require improvement in the short term
  
• Identification of areas that require improvement in the long term
  
• Identification of network resources that are not being fully utilised
  
• A full network map of all equipment owned by the company
  
• Provide an inventory of all hardware and software owned by the company

Scope Logic audits are carried out in consultation with the business to provide a basis to build a corporate IT strategy that links in with the business goals and direction.

Once the audit is complete and the report has been reviewed and discussed with the client, Scope Logic will implement any agreed remedial steps needed to establish a best practice setup. This then allows us to move you onto Scope Logics Managed Services Agreement to ensure that the system is continually monitored and maintained.
