Situation:
New 5 star beach resort in the Margaret River region required the design, installation and project management of a complete solution for the resort’s network including:
- Office and reception network
- Property Management System
- Guest Internet Access to all 75 rooms
- Wireless access for specific areas of the resort.
- Integrated Point of Sale solutions for Restaurant, Bar, Bottle Shop and Deli.
Solution:
Scope Logic consultants liaised with the client and indentified the requirements for the resort including what the property managers envisaged for the future. A scoping document was drawn up outlining these requirements and through further discussions with the client specific software and hardware was identified that matched the exact requirements and offered the scalability for future plans.
Once the client was happy that all the requirements had been covered, Scope Logic procured the hardware and core software and scheduled 3rd party software vendors to install the Property Management System, Point of Sale software.
Scope Logic Engineers then configured and installed the network hardware and software, project managing the installation of the selected Property Management System and integrated Point of Sale solutions.
Liaising closely with all stake holders Scope Logic’s technical knowledge accelerated the process of installing voice and data services to the remote location.
Scope Logic Help Desk now monitors and maintains the network ensuring availability, reliability and security of the resorts network.
