Siemens Enterprise Communications has been positioned as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications 2011. Gartner’s Magic Quadrant positions vendors in one of four quadrants (Leaders – Challengers – Visionaries – Niche Players) depending on the company’s completeness of vision and their ability to execute.
According to Gartner “”The Leaders quadrant contains vendors selling comprehensive UC suites that are coupled with broad communications and collaboration portfolios and strong technology partnerships. These vendors, and their channel partners, have experience delivering UC to a broad range of enterprise types and into most geographic regions. Gartner divides unified communications into six core product areas which solution providers must offer in order to be included in the quadrant. The product areas are:
- Voice & Telephony
- Presence and Instant Messaging
- Unified Clients
- Integrated Communication Applications
